Organised by

EUPHA Foresight section

Strategic foresight studies provide valuable information for policy-making. They provide insights into the most important future trends and challenges, which is essential for well-informed policy-making. To advance the use of strategic foresight in public health, provision of systematic methods, understanding and interpretation of the future studies are needed. In this skills building workshop, the basics of strategic foresight methods will be explained. You will learn the concepts of horizon scanning, scenario development, dealing with different types of uncertainty, and the translation of these scenarios to policy makers. This interactive half day workshop will be a combination of theory and exercises to practice how foresight can be used within public health.

The programme of the pre-conference will follow shortly.

The registration fee is EUR 75. Networking lunch and refreshments are included. Number of registrations is limited to 30 persons.
