Charlotte is the Executive Director of the European Public Health Association (EUPHA) and the EPH Conference. She is an international expert and trainer in Health in All Policies, with a keen focus on global and urban health. Her experience spans participation, empowerment, and governance, highlighting her commitment to creating inclusive and healthy communities.

With over two decades of dedication to the associative world, from capacity building to advocacy, she has contributed to public health policy and practice. From 2014 to 2020, Marchandise was the elected Deputy Mayor of Rennes for Health, and President of the French WHO Healthy Cities Network and political Chair of the European Network, where whe promoted healthier environments through innovative and sustainable public health strategies.She also worked as consultant to the WHO in fostering intersectoral collaborations for enhanced health equity and evidence-based decisions, and the integration of Patients and communities in the WHO Academy training program design.

Jennie is an experienced Conference and Events Manager at the European Public Health Association (EUPHA), overseeing the organization of the EPH Conference and other key events within the EUPHA portfolio. With over 20 years of expertise in managing large-scale international events, Jennie brings a wealth of knowledge in event strategy, stakeholder management, and team leadership.

Before joining EUPHA, Jennie held senior leadership roles at organizations such as Royal Jaarbeurs and UBM, where she led diverse teams, implemented strategic business initiatives, and maximized the success of various international exhibitions and conferences. Her career spans a variety of sectors, including healthcare, technology, and B2C events.

Jennie is passionate about delivering impactful experiences that foster collaboration and advance public health. She is committed to ensuring EUPHA’s events continue to inspire innovation, engage diverse audiences, and promote equity across Europe’s public health landscape.

Nic is an experienced finance professional with a proven track record in both private and public sectors, including corporate organizations and NGOs. Having worked in multiple countries, he brings a deep understanding of multinational and multicultural environments. Nic has successfully streamlined finance teams to enhance productivity and efficiency, leading initiatives in both centralization and decentralization of finance operations. His strategic approach ensures alignment with organizational goals while adapting to local needs which has consistently resulted in improved processes and enhanced collaboration across diverse teams. Strong qualifications include developing and implementing financial controls and processes, alongside productivity improvements and change management initiatives.

In recent years, Nic has worked as a finance consultant in the healthcare sector across East Africa, and most recently, has consulted for a Dutch NGO dedicated to financial literacy education, engaging with key donors such as UNICEF, Credit Suisse and the Mastercard Foundation.

Natalie is a strategic health communicator with over a decade of experience in healthcare communications, particularly in primary care. As Communications Manager at EUPHA, she leads communications for both EUPHA and the European Public Health Conference.

Her work is grounded in an audience-first approach, using accessible, evidence-informed messaging to engage Europe’s diverse public health community. She uses measurable insights to shape communications that engage audiences and support inclusive public health policy.

Natalie recently led the redevelopment of this website to better reflect EUPHA’s mission and serve its multilingual audience. She is passionate about turning complex public health issues into clear, compelling messages that inspire action.

Jessica is a no-nonsense event and project manager with more than 20 years of experience delivering national and international events across both profit and non-profit organisations. She combines a curious and creative mindset with a strong hands-on approach and a sharp eye for detail.

Her portfolio ranges from large-scale conferences such as the European Public Health Conference to events for organisations including Albert Heijn, the Van Gogh Museum, ING, Tata Steel and AKD Law Firm.

As a communicative coordinator and process guardian, Jessica ensures that projects run smoothly, efficiently and according to plan. She excels in logistical organisation, budget management, building and utilising strong networks, and creating structure within complex projects.

Humour, clarity and a sustainable way of working define her approach. She encourages effective teamwork and ensures that every event — from concept to execution — is delivered professionally, carefully and with attention to detail.

Her role within the EPH Conference includes event operations, sponsor and exhibitor management, logistics and on-site coordination, technical and plenary management, as well as office processes.

Robert Klarecki holds a Ph.D. in Political Science and a master’s degree in International Affairs. His academic background includes international law, diplomacy, and global governance. He has professional experience in academic administration and international project management, particularly in higher education and European cooperation. He has coordinated international research projects and academic conferences, and managed EU-funded projects in collaboration with universities and research institutions across Europe. He has been involved in conference organization throughout his career, including serving as Conference Manager of the EUPHA 2009 Conference in Łódź, Poland. He rejoined EUPHA in 2018 and has since been involved in the scientific part of the conference, including abstract handling, programme development and collaboration with the International Scientific Committee.

Lydia Rink is a freelance PCO and has been part of the EPH Conference team since 2016, supporting the event’s growth through her expertise in large international conferences. As a Professional Conference Organizer (PCO), she manages the full registration process and all venue‑related operations, ensuring smooth logistics and a professional experience for all participants. Known for her precision, clear communication, and proactive approach, Lydia plays a key role in delivering a well‑organized and efficient conference each year.

José started working for EUPHA and the EPH Conference in June 2013. Before joining EUPHA she has worked for many years as a secretary for several institutes and companies, such as NIVEL (Netherlands Institute for Health Services Research), also accommodated in the same office building as EUPHA.

Her area of responsibility within EUPHA is mainly focused on the maintenance of the EUPHA and EPH website, membership administration and general support.
