The main theme of the 18th European Public Health Conference is "Investing for sustainable health and well-being," emphasizing that improving health and well-being is an investment benefiting society and contributing to a sustainable economy.

This first webinar of the series will discuss the application of the well-being economy, the role of EU policies, the economic benefits of investing in health and health systems, and future expectations for European public health policy.

We will hear presentations from:

  • Otto Kyyrönen, Finnish Federation for Social Affairs and Health
  • Caroline Costongs, EuroHealthNet
  • Luigi Siciliani, University of York

The discussion is moderated by Ilmo Keskimäki, Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).

This webinar is a revisit of the workshop held at the EPH Conference in Lisbon – if you missed it, now is your chance to participate!
