Overview
Conceived in 2009, the Young Researchers Forum (YRF) is held each year in the context of the European Public Health Conference.
The YRF is open for submission from postgraduate students, postdoctoral reseachers and early career researchers from any field of public health. Participants present their original research through oral or poster-pitch presentations and receive constructive feedback from experienced public health researchers and peers.
Supervisers and all interested individuals are encouraged to attend and support participants.
Aims
The YRF aims to provide a friendly and supportive environment for participants to develop presentation skills, refine research, and build professional networks.
YRF allows participants to:
- Gain experience presenting research before an international audience.
- Receive feedback that strengthens work before journal submission.
- Build connections with peers and researchers from schools of public health across Europe.
- Increase their visibility within the European public health community.
Faciliation and Expertise
The YRF pre-conference is chaired by ASPHER with a jury of faculty experts from ASPHER Member Schools providing constructive guidance and advisement on career development in public health.
Special recognition is given to selected outstanding oral and poster presentations.
