Sally Hargreaves

Dr Hargreaves is a Lecturer in Global Health at St George’s, University London. She has an interest in migrant health and health systems research, with a particular focus on tuberculosis, latent tuberculosis, and vaccination. Current research studies focus on implementing innovative screening and catch-up vaccination tools for new migrants at primary and secondary health-care services, and intervention studies to improve treatment adherence in migrants with tuberculosis. She is Wellcome funded to explore the health needs of international labour migrants and has received funding from WHO to explore a minimum package of care for tuberculosis treatment in migrants across the WHO EURO Region. Collaborations include Public Health England (TB and vaccination), the UCL-Lancet Commission on Migrant Health (Commissioner), WHO (Latent TB Guidelines Committee member), and the ECDC (Advisor, migrant screening guidelines).
