Moredreck Chibi leads Public Health Innovation at WHO Europe, driving sustainable impact and equitable health outcomes. As former Regional Adviser for Science and Innovation at WHO Africa, he developed the first Strategy for Scaling Up Health Innovations, that was unanimously approved by 47 Member States. He chaired an African United Nations agency coalition promoting innovation for SDG progress. During COVID-19, he led crucial regional innovation initiatives that siginificantly contributed to the response. With over 20 years in Research, Development, and Innovation management, including at WHO Geneva, Moredreck Chibi holds a PhD in Medical Biosciences and a Swiss Executive MBA in Innovation Management. His career is dedicated to developing and implementing innovative solutions for global health challenges, with a focus on addressing specific needs in diverse contexts.
