Irene Schlünder

Expert EU data protection and database governance, TMF e.V., Germany

Irene Schlünder is a lawyer and expert in EU data protection law and database governance. She works for TMF e.V. (Technology, Methods, and Infrastructure for Networked Medical Research), a member based German umbrella organisation for academic biomedical research in Berlin. She is involved in various European health research projects and a member of the ELSI Service & Research Unit of BBMRI-Eric, where she works on the initiative for a ‘Code of Conduct for health research’ under the GDPR. She will lead the legal work package of the EHDS2 pilot project.
