Didier Jourdan

Didier Jourdan is full Professor at the University of Clermont Auvergne, France. He is the Chair Holder of the UNESCO Chair ‘Global Health and Education’ and Head of the WHO Collaborating Centre for ‘Research in Education and Health’ which are focused on knowledge production and sharing from an intersectoral perspective. His research activities focus on the impact of health promotion interventions, particularly with regard to health inequalities, implementation mechanisms, professional activity and ethical issues. Involved in the main networks in the field of health promotion, health education and public health, he plays an active role in international collaborations centred on research in health promotion and health education. He is Vice-President of the International Union of Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE).
