Cristiano Figueiredo is a family doctor and also works as trainer and adviser in General and Family Medicine at the USF da Baixa, Central Lisbon Health Centre Cluster, National Health Service in Portugal. He is the co-founder and co-coordinator of the NOVA PSOA - Social Prescribing Implementation and Evaluation Research Group - at the National School of Public Health, NOVA University Lisbon in Portugal. In addition, he coordinates two other innovative community health projects: Bengalisboa Community Health Project and Walk with a Dog Lisbon. He is a PhD Candidate and invited assistant at the National School of Public Health, NOVA University Lisbon, Portugal.
