Abstract Amendments & Submission Deadlines

Can I amend my accepted abstract?
Yes, you can edit your abstract up until 15 July, 12:00 (noon) CEST. After that, no further changes are possible.

Changing the Presenter

Can I change the presenting author?
Yes, log in before 15 July, use “Modify abstract” to set a new presenter. The new presenter must be registered for the conference before the change can be made.

I have already confirmed to present, can I still change the presenting author?
Yes, you can. Please send the name and email address of the new presenter to abstract@ephconference.eu. Note that the new presenter must be registered for the conference before the change can be processed.

Publication & Programme Listings

Will the abstracts be published?
Yes, all accepted abstracts are published in the Abstract Supplement of the European Journal of Public Health (Impact Factor 4.2), if the presenter registers by 15 July.

Why aren’t co-authors listed in the programme?
The conference programme only shows presenters. Co-authors appear in the published Abstract Supplement.

Registration Requirements

Do I have to register as a presenter?
Yes, all presenters must register. If you do not register, your abstract will be removed from the programme.

Do co-authors need to register?
No, only the presenting author must register.

If co-authors want to view posters/presentations, do they need to register?
Yes, only registered participants can access presentations.

Session Logistics & Finding Your Presentation

How can I find my session in the programme?
Use the search box in the upper left corner of the online programme - search by your surname.

When do I need to be in my session room?
Be in the room 10 minutes before the session starts to meet the chair and fellow presenters.

Presentation Formats

What are the technical details for oral/poster presentations?

What is the size of a poster?
See the Presenter instructions page for full specifications.

Do I need to print my poster?
No, all posters are shown electronically.

When to be by your poster?
If your poster is included in a poster walk, please consult the online programme to see where your session is scheduled. Arrive about 10 minutes early to meet the chairpersons.
Poster displays are organized by conference tracks and shown on digital screens throughout the whole event. They are accessible to delegates at any time at various poster stations. Please check the Presenter instructions.

Slides & Poster Upload

When and where can I upload my slides/poster?
Upload must be done by 26 October, via instructions on the presenters’ webpage.

I don’t see the upload section - why?
Upload becomes active 1 July, only for registered presenters. Are you listed as a presenter, and have you completed your registration for the conference? Once both conditions are met, the upload section will appear in your profile.

Accreditation

Is the 18th EPH Conference 2025 accredited?
Accreditation for the 18th EPH Conference 2025 in Helsinki has been applied for from the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®). Once the evaluation is complete, we will announce the number of credits on our website.
