Can I amend my accepted abstract?

Yes, you can make changes to your abstract until 15 July. After this date, no further corrections are possible.

Will the abstracts be published?

Yes, all accepted abstracts will be published in the electronic version of the Abstract Supplement of the European Journal of Public Health (2023 Impact Factor: 3.7), provided that the presenter registers for the conference by 15 July.

Do I have to be registered?

Yes, all presenters must register. If you do not register, your abstract will be removed from the programme.

Should the co-authors (not the presenters) register?

No. Only the presenter is required to register.

Should the co-authors (not the presenters) register if they want to see the poster?

Yes. Only registered participants can access posters or view presentations.

How can I find my session in the programme?

Use the search box in the upper-left corner of the online programme. You can search by surname.

Why my co-authors are not mentioned in the programme?

The conference programme displays only the presenters. Co-authors are listed in the Abstract Supplement.

What are the technical details for the oral/poster presentation?

Please refer to the Presenter Instructions for detailed information.

When will the programme be available?

The programme will be published on our website by 10 July.

Do I need to register if I am a presenter?

Yes, all presenters must register and pay the registration fee.

Are there other deadlines I need to observe??

You can find all the relevant deadlines at the bottom right of the EPH Conference website.

When do I need to be in my session room?

Please arrive at your assigned session room 10 minutes before the session starts to coordinate with the chairperson and other presenters.

When and where can I upload my slides/poster?

You are asked to upload your slides/poster by 26 October, following the instructions provided at our webpage.

I cannot find the upload section at my profile, why?

The upload section becomes active on 1st July. However, please note that it is only available to registered presenters. Are you listed as a presenter, and have you completed your registration for the conference? Once both conditions are met, the upload section will appear in your profile.

Can I change the presenting author of my abstract?

Yes. You can change the presenter by logging into your account before 15 July. Use 'Modify abstract' option. The new presenter must also be registered for the conference. 

What is the size of a poster?

Please check the Presenter instructions.

Do I need to print my poster?

No. All posters will be displayed electronically. Please check the Presenter instructions.

When do I need to be next to my poster?

If your poster is included in a poster walk, please consult the online programme to see where your session is scheduled. Arrive about 10 minutes early to meet the chairpersons.
Poster displays are organized by conference tracks and shown on digital screens throughout the event. They are accessible to delegates at any time at various poster stations. Please check the Presenter instructions

Is the 18th EPH Conference 2025 accredited?

Accreditation for the 18th EPH Conference 2025 in Helsinki has been applied for from the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®). Once the evaluation is complete, we will announce the number of credits on our website.
