Nordic knitting

All conference days

Knitting is a particularly lively tradition in Finland. It is a part of the school curriculum and part of the tradition that has long been passed from one generation to the next. The Finns have long been keen knitters before it had a chance to become trendy. In Helsinki the art of knitting has been interwoven with charitable acts, lifestyle and wellbeing. Welcome to learn the basic stiches and methods of the Nordic knitting technique.
