How to navigate the EPH Conference parallel programme

Finding your way around the EPH Conference is not always easy. In addition to the plenary and lunch programmes, we offer participants the choice of no less than 176 sessions in the parallel programme, 22 moderated poster sessions and 40 Pecha Kucha workshops. Below is a short explanation of the programme.

Parallel sessions

The scientific parallel programme is divided into 16 conference tracks, each covering a sub-area or specialisation within public health. A track consists of 11 sessions, divided into workshops, oral presentations and pitch sessions. All sessions are 60 minutes. Oral sessions consist of 5 presentations around a specific theme or subject, pitch sessions consist of 8 presentations. All sessions are moderated.

Posters

The programme includes moderated poster sessions that are divided into Track R and S. A poster session consists of 10-15 presentations around an e-Poster. These are interactive sessions of 60 minutes in which the presenter briefly explains the poster and engages in discussion with the audience. The poster sessions are all led by a moderator.

Poster presentations can be viewed at all times on the large screens around the venue and on the iPads in the designated poster area. You can browse the programme by subject, presenter or keyword of your choice.

Pecha Kucha workshops

The Pecha Kucha programme consists of 40 workshops of 25 minutes. In these workshops, the emphasis is on storytelling supported by a limited number of images. The images are automatically displayed to maintain the storyline and keep the presenter on track. The Pecha Kucha workshops can be found as tracks X and Y.
