Lunch symposium: Data-driven health policies: informed decision-making for Cervical Cancer elimination in Europe
Friday 15 November, 12:55 – 13:55 (Lisbon time)
Organised by:
MSD
Background
Managing the increasing complexity of implementing successful public immunization programs requires better monitoring tools and more insights. Yet, even when data is available, it is often not used in an optimal way to identify gaps and drive policy interventions to address identified immunization gaps.
This Lunch Symposium will put the spotlight on the importance and potential of real-time data monitoring and reporting to support EU’s goal to eliminate cervical cancer and other HPV-related cancers as per Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan, through situation analysis and best practice sharing.
Speakers
Marina Davidashvili, Head of Policy and Research, European Parliamentary Forum for Sexual & Reproductive Rights (EPF)
Sibilia Quilici, Executive Director Vaccines Europe at EFPIA - European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations
