The Conference Dinner & Dance is held at the Palais de la Bourse near the Vieux Port in Marseille’s  historic city centre. In the mid-19th century the Marseilles Chamber of Commerce, established in 1599 and being the oldest in the world, was at the height of its power. In order to make this clear, they ordered the construction of this imposing building in 1860. It was inaugurated in the presence of Napoléon III and Empress Eugénie.
